You’re assuming that this BLM trope that received criticism and hatred is actually from a BLM member. I haven’t looked into it, but I wouldn’t be convinced until I saw the face of the person. It could be a conservative thinktank or some type of conservative operative acting to drag down the movement, which conveniently is not being bombarded by the FOX like news environment. The tactics of having ‘confederates’ do their dirty work for them are not new. I just saw the only recorded interview with the black American informant who worked for the white male FBI that spied on the Black Panthers, which led to the raid that brutally killed Fred and his colleagues for no reason in a typical white male massacre style. Attacks on notable black American figures are increasing, and there are also attacks on university students on campus protesting, which is a basic human right,, no matter their opinion.
I agree though that Black Lives Matter is not the BLM organization and have been supporting the spirit of that movement, as over 3 million people came out after George Floyd’s death to protest the daily repression and violence that they’ve experienced since, since, well since at least 1865 after the Civil War ended and police started rounding up black Americans and renting them out under legalized enslaved day laborers under the 13th amendment to pick cotton and crops. It’s great to clarify as the conservative parts of the media seek to erode confidence by belittling the Black Lives Matter, which functions like a Civil Rights Movement. We must keep on with that effort for real recognition and point out confederates who are now trolling from behind anonymous internet servers.
