You would think that California voting to KEEP “slavery or involuntary servitude” through Prop 6 winning 54% for keeping it would be a far more shocking issue. Here’s California, a state that is supposed to be liberal, voting to KEEP literal “slavery”, allowable by the 13th amendment, affecting mostly Black Americans and Latinos as a far bigger issue. I mean, literal slavery. The state uses it to disenfranchise Blacks and Browns through flimsy felony convictions. Louisiana voted to keep it in 2022. How is mass disenfranchisement and mass enslaved of black and brown human being under any conditions not a far, far bigger issue deserving of endless media attention than trans people, the vast majority of whom are nice humans and far from he nasty conservatives as normally possible. It sounds insane, until you consider the real reason. The governors of these states it would be just too costly to end literal “slavery” in those states. We just don’t have the budget means white men making money off literal slavery. Billions per years in California. We are definitely deceived by political labeling.
Peace.
