You make it sound like Black American men are somehow marginal and the least considered people in America. Oh, wait. Duh. It’s so terrible that they still show they don’t want to fix this situation, but it does reflect society. And their view is that a Black American can only join a team is he adapts right away and doesn’t have his own agenda. This analysis is so accurate and makes that stand out clearly how they project their fears instantly into this comic. They could have solved it all by just making Luke Cage an X-Man back in the mid-80s after Phoenix died and made him team captain instead of Cyclops. He always seemed the most annoying and weakest. I didn’t see what was smart of powerful about him. He seemed like a bad fighter too. He could be shot with a gun from behind and died instantly. He was bland, boring, and no reason why he should lead or even live. He really had nothing else but shooting a powerful beam through his “eye”. Cyclops. Sounds like klan name. Oh, I see. LOL.
