Yes, that’s all true, but they don’t teach history or the history you are talking about. Few people knows of this “flip” and you are one who has studied it and grasped it. I’ve been learning about it. I just wouldn’t call some one ridiculous, but uninformed. I used to be uninformed, and admit it. Sometimes what we think is common knowledge is uncommon. It’s true we must point out that Lincoln was not anywhere close to being a modern Republican at all. The modern Republicans are very good at appropriating him though. Thanks.
