Yes, that what should happen, to call out those committing atrocities. One of the first thing Biden did when taking office, perhaps ironically, is call the western internment work camps in Western China where the Uyghurs are ‘repatriated’ a “genocide.” That controversy caught my eye and I bought a book and read more on it, noticing that a key American firm, McKinsey, an “advisor” to governments globally, some how mysteriously advised the Chinese government in that area and had a showing of the camps. Nothing is easy, and the “knife cuts both ways”, as it did in the case of Biden now being called out on for the very thing he accused China of, participating in a genocide. I don’t believe this is the pot calling the kettle black or a karma boomerang coming back at him but the result of pressure of citizens and protestors constantly calling out the powerful, like Xi, Biden, or Netanyahu. There is no question of that what is going on in Israel is technically a genocide, and there is great reason to doubt and question the information Israel is promoting about rape of women and children. Citizens and those with a conscious have pointed out the lack of evidence supporting Israeli claims and shown solid evidence that highly suggests no rapes had occurred and no behead baby existed. The people continue to do the work of protesting, of agitating, of resisting the narratives of the powerful in charge who abuse their powers and privileges the people give them. Leaders never like dissent; the people always need it.
