Yes, it is not a theory, it is facts that there was a system of repression. Now I see why they like this phrase “theory.” It’s used to delegitimize the facts, to minimize the pain and suffering of felt by blacks descendants of slavery, and to lower their pain and suffering to the point of “it’s over with, stop whining about slavery.” The point is lower the atrocities committed to something common place and pout it out of sight. It is eradicate discussion of the past we all participate in and control the memory of it. The word “theory” has already been blasted by them Foxy Newish types before, as in Intelligent Design Theory. They again tried to equate something not a theory (Darwinist evolution) with something not scientific and not even a hypothesis. Again, they are bringing two sides to parity in perceptual terms when there is any in either case. And they’ve don’t book planning before— Catcher in the Rye anyone?
