Yeah, the one thing your not is petty. Instead, I would say you noticed critical relevant details and were incensed by them.
But darn, I cannot believe I keep learning about this. At first I thought the headline was a joke, the NAAWP, and how stupid can our get white people. But at the same time, I also knew the author is too honest an investigator. It just seemed so absurd this organization started and easily raised money for its political cause. Of course though the white appropriated every phrase of justice and truth black Americans have made in their struggle for justice. The NAAWP, the American nazi party, the klan — all have been in continuous existence since the 50s (well the early 1930s or the 1860s), but people act like it’s ancient history, when it isn’t even past history, just continual history.
