Wow, I agree with your conclusions but came about it through a different set of facts. Some of the things stated are glossed over. For example, they clearly state in episode one I believe that 2–7% of women making accusations are lying. I thought immediately, why couldn’t Mia be one these cases? My step mother was a very nice woman like Mia on the surface, but she knew optics, how to remain appearing nice and frail, while making destructive accusations against an ex. She had been married to Frank Sinatra at 16 or 18 it seemed and later divorced him. Sinatra was also in his 50’s I believe. There were conflicting facts, such as the one babysitter passing through the TV room she said when recalling on the record in court and seeing no one when first looking for Dylan, the other people said they did see Allen and Dylan in the TV room with his head in her lap. But they weren’t on the record. However the main problem was the psychological profile. Allen himself said in 60 minutes interview, What do you think I suddenly became a pedophile at age 57? That would be impossible to believe. The evidence was that he was always chasing in his films, and in real life, 16–18 year old girls, or those with that waif-ish look. But there’s a big difference between liking pubescent late teenagers and prepubescent children under ten. No pattern was apparent he ever had been doing that. And that change is not sudden. Mia is a very manipulative person, one of the 2–7 percent, and what is worse was Woody’s current wife (Soon Yi Previn) gave an interview to Vulture.com (NYT magazine it’s also cited as) that I read after the show it was very exact, with specific memories of Mia and Woody. She was very vocal and clear headed. Even though Woody was present at times, she talked back to him and seemed more in control of him than the other way round. She was 45 or so when the interview was printed. She seemed the most credible person out of the whole lot.
