Wow, first I thought, alright, I’m entertained by your description about this ‘crazy’ incident, but where is he going with it? Then I went, oh, there. Yes, a great comparison that made me experience the reaction to the Superman attack on a judge, which was wild, to the January 6th attack. Both were physical attacks against government representatives carrying out the rule of law in a calm manner. However, the January 6th attackers were worse, not even bothering to use the schizophrenia/bipolar-polar excuse or trying to say they were trying to do better with their lives before the attack.
in fact, a good half of them did do better, and were educated white elites, from doctors and lawyers to other established trained professions from solid middle class and upper class homes. They simply allowed the perception that they were right and remained non remorseful, not even staging this defense of really having tried to make better of their lives before “snapping.” That was a great way to “lure” someone in to the heart of the argument by experiential reasoning before making a stark comparison. Thank you, well played sir.
