Why Did Black Americans Need Four Voting Rights Acts?
Part 3. Black Victimhood is not a Mental Complex
The answer is elegantly simple. Because the white conservatives who controlled the states after decades of insurrection to create one-party rule in the South would not/not let Black Americans vote. They absolutely hated Black American voters and equality so much, so passionately and deeply, that they resisted at all costs and at all times in every decade, giving one inch to Black activists. Or I could just say white racism. That’s simple. Just don’t forget the “white” before racism because no ambiguity existed in the actions of white racial repression.
These white one-party state governments did NOT obey the Supreme Court’s Brown v. Board decision and integrate schools. They did not for ten years. There was no advancement in the South, none. Stop, just stop taking a Supreme Court decision for something ending “Jim Crow.” The Supreme Court has no, no enforcement ability, rendering their decisions for these white supremacist states mere suggestions.
They don’t obey laws and decisions of equality. The massive White Resistance was so excellent they had one-party rule. The northern whites and west coast whites ignored this anti-democratic country nested inside America. They were fed watered-down historical recollections and…
