The Successful 1776 Project Wipes Out History — Part Trois
If you repeat something enough, the original dichotomy and divisions get erased, leaving an idea of “unbroken” power and a “unified” people, a people who have been “restored.” Ignorance of history and the impact of the divisions can be erased by a continual stream of new phraseology, just like you see now by the Conservative white wing, now Republicans. History can be manufactured. That is the real reason they are trying to “preserve” it: to eliminate the fact that white autocratic governance was eliminated intentionally when America was founded — not by all, but by those white liberals and even the black soldiers who fought with them.
Is there a day that goes by when cops and conservative politicians don’t devalue Black Americans by their words and their police actions? Like in the last few hundred years? When exactly was that time, it stopped completely? Historians don’t say, only suggest and imply. Instead, the forces of pure whiteness are beating the crap out of democracy’s principles, bludgeoning history. But we did see that there was the opposite, a drive to stop them, to fight for equality when reviewing the Original Bills of Rights, from which much of the Constitution drew on. We saw it in Virginia as discussed in Part Two.
