Here’s a picture of the fun loving 1960s people hanging out that could have been taken in Florida I ran across just now. Those children who were baby boomers, foot lose and fancy freeing, spreading love and good will, demanding peace, and justice for all whites.
Oh what, this isn’t part of the image of the 1960s the media portrays with its flower power and anti-war stuff? What are you saying, that instead of Freedom and Love there was a completely other set of values that people gathered for?
Take the little girl waving her national flag in this protest. She is also holding a sign that clearly shows that nation, her nation, and her parents, is under attack. “Save Segregation Vote State’s Rights”. State’s rights are so critical for her nation, since each state gets to treat people in it according to the Governor-King and his court. They do not want the federal government, Bureaucrats(!), from interfering and running their states.
These kids also grew up during the baby boomer times, embedded with the influences and ideas of their parents and grandparents who surrounded them. They are now in their 60s and voting in places like Florida. Yet I don’t see many Hollywood…
