Well, there goes learning about the Civil War, where whites were slaughtering whites. It would make my children feel bad. My daughter in six grade learned about World War 3, where whites were slaughtering whites, and Japanese were slaughtering Chinese. Then there’s that Revolutionary War, where the all black regiment is fighting the redcoats in Rhode Island—that would definitely make whites feel bad. Oh wait, sorry, that last one isn’t in the history books. All the blacks who fought in the Revolutionary War have been taken out already so as not to spoil the myth that the country was founded by whites. Oops.
