We can’t stop slavery until we overturn the 13th amendment. American Constitutional slavery started with it convict leasing was based on it. Today, states plays the federal government (through their Unicor system of prisons) rent out mostly black and brown people to corporations in their own constructed labor camps made by taxpayers. The leased laborers—convicts, “duly convicted”, slaves, forced prison laborers—work for free in a forced setting. The 13th allows their human unalienable rights to be stripped away, tied to sanctioned government documents for temporary ownership of those minorities, then rented out to corporations. It’s not “like” slavery; it is slavery. It’s not a “loophole”, it’s explicit language. The federal and state governments all use the Exception Clause to strip away human natural rights. In other words, the entire government now has the ability to alienate a human’s rights, tied their worth in forced labor to a government approved contract and rent out that forced labor. That isn’t “like” authoritarianism, it is autocracy. The last two Republican presidents assigned all the board members to run Unicor, the federal slave prison. Because when have white supremacist not been in charge of enslaved minorities. If you look on Unicor’s federal website you will pictures of just minorities, or advertisement of human’s to rent out—or forced enslaved labor.

If you want reparations, start by paying all those released enslaved black Americans and all those in prison. Tell Burger King and Axon and the rest to pay what is owed their slaves. They got rich on black enslaved prison labor by stealing the wages of their workers.
