Finally, a victory in Georgia. A black man won. I’m not sure which one represents the winning side.

There’s be a lot of celebrations and relief. Even I was relieved. But that illusion didn’t last long. While the historic win of Warnock to pro-democracy, anti-supremacist types, I had a feeling that it is a Potemkin celebration, that is a facade of joy.

Behind the victory is lurking not the feeling of defeat and reassessment that Democrats feel when losing, but the plotting and planning for revenge. That is the basic emotion of GOP defeats, in case you missed the last one. Trump never ceded the race, and the rest of GOP, with or without him, still are crushing Joe Biden, or Sleepy Joe, the weak feeble old president.

They have already won in their characterization, taking out those who voted for Biden but don’t really like him. I felt absolutely ripped off when Biden came from Biden, a sleepy old smirky dude who sided more with Republicans than any other Democrat, took $200,000 for speaking at a Republican even in 2019 before the primaries, and helped gut integration in the mid 70s, a key provision in the Civil Rights Bill by backing segregationists fighting against integration from Day 1 of the Brown v. Board Decision.
