True, but then why does the prime minister say he has to ask permission? He is showing that the mindset is still subservient to the House of Windsor. I don't see the Canadian Prime minster on British currency, but I did grow up seeing the Queen on Canadian currency. It shows a type of unnecessary one-way reception of power and submission to it.
