To answer one your first questions, they want power and money, so they side with DeSantis. These are people that are narcissistic perhaps, but their main problem seems to be that they are transparent to the Democrats and clearly would be criticized to heavily for their naked ambitions that lack moral integrity. ( That’s just my knee-jerk reaction. I would have to give your questions more consideration before I condemn them thoroughly.)
