This is exactly right. Typically even drug users are treated like victims, thrown in jail, told to get off the street or move on if their addiction leaves them homeless. Little to no empathy is extended, and four four solid years under the last president minorities, black Americans, and women were constantly debased and dehumanized everyday by comments and Twitter storms. Of course it still occurs and occurred before then, but the extent of it vastly intensified. Thank you.
