There’s no question you’re undervalued. But part of the issue is you’re under protected too. One you reason you can’t speak up about inequities is fear of getting fired and fear of abuse, which you have received it sounds like—just getting hit on in the workplace and having your final paycheck withheld. But there is no real protection for you I’m afraid. The EEOC generally fails people of color who complain. In government employment on federal, state and local levels, the complaints are buried 99 percent of the time on average. That down from over 7 percent in the 90s and 3 percent in by 2010. In other words, your real ability to hold someone accountable is almost 0 percent.

It stays at one percent because they need some cases to succeed to show the system is working. It’s not. Not being able to hold an executive accountable in an open setting, allows the government or company to walk away 99 percent of the time without guilt or having to issue an apology.

A settlement recall may happen and I include it in the 99 percent, though settlements are down, beat are not admissions of guilt. They are protections from admissions of guilt and thus from admissions that the system is broken. Which it is, 99 percent of the time. Over 80 percent of BIPOC who complain actually end up walking away from their complaint because of the length of time and money spent on a lawyer. So they system has gotten worse form employees of color, women, and those LGBTQ+. So yeah, you’re best option would be starting your own HR consultancy though that is hard to do.
