I like to use right black American and white, as a attempt to emphasize the Americanness of what MLK called “the negro” in 1960, and to de-emphasize the Americanness of whites. What I can’t understand is if so many white, far right wing ones especially, love to identify as European, why don’t they just go back there? MLK fought for this country—for equality and justice.
