I deliberately move to continue to slap minorities in the face and disregard black voters, Senator Chuckie Schumer nominated his super white guy of Wisconsin Ben Wikler to Democratic Party Chair. If this is the party of inclusion and diversity, then it is becoming one where diverse means white male or white Jewish Zionist. Not much of a choice.

I was wrong, though, and I’m not glad to admit it. That’s because someone did nominate Marianne Williamson, a white woman from California who is a self-help guru. I’m making her sound slightly flaky when she is the most intelligent and sane person in the mix. The mix is thus now not all white men.

But Marianne was chosen not for her moral power, her backing of the poor and middle class, or her being perhaps the only candidate who would listen to minorities, but because she is like Kamala Harris: a showpiece of diversity the party leaders can defeat and don’t take seriously. Hence, they are still dropping the pretense about DEI and minorities. The lesson from the election: you need white men to beat Trump. The “Obama era” is over of fronting minorities. When the tough get going, they get white.
