The mention of Eric Garner, the Plunger Situation, or Amadou going down in a hail of police bullets while unarmed—yes these are all atrocious, I can agree. Medgar Evers was a lynching to far. But to compare them to Nazis? That might be unfair and going to far. Let’s remember her that the Nazis never took the Jews and burned them on the town square for all the German villagers to see. They tried to maintain a shred of decency. These white supremacists in America who gather around in the thousands from all over to cut of certain body parts, drag Lloyd Warner or George Armwood through the town square and then burn them still alive. The Nazis at least had a shred of decency not to keep their genocide hidden from public view. German children saw their country bombed, and had to live with the legacy of their parents generation committing the Holocaust, but at least they didn’t have to personally watch the burnings and killings. They were spared a little bit of the psychological damage. What happened here, the rights of white to gang up and pound the S#@$ out of a black ‘kid’ (antifa) is a public square tradition in America, normalized violence.
