The issue of killing aid workers is atrocious because it was precision targeting, so purposeful. But the horror of it is not that it is the first time, but at least the third instance where when aid workers came to give food out to the starving, they were targeted and killed. It’s not more atrocious than the actually starvation of the families going on, but it atrocious that humanitarian workers trying to get food to the starving children are killed. But yes, there is something seriously wrong with our sense of the value of human life.
