Of all the victims of this Israeli-Gaza war, I never would have predicted who the American victims would be. But now the real tragedy is that once again, black American politicians are being brutally attacked, and it’s come coming from both parties.

Democrats and Republicans are spending enormous amounts of money and of vitriol against black and “people of color” politicians. If you do not conform and speak out, you are out. We will primary you, is the message. It is absolutely incredible to see both parties devastate and attack those black politicians or politicians of color in office or running for office for speaking out with, well, free speech.

It shows we’ve gotten nowhere, and suddenly it feels like I had a glimpse of the whole system and how it has only been tolerating black Americans if they stick to the game plan and not use free speech. I’m depressed and disgusted. We can clearly see some black American politicians on the side of the monied elite in both parties going against their own American people for the sake of power, which they’ve clearly become so addicted to the money they can’t think straight.
