The injustice is vast— 33 years for sex trafficking. The woman sounded like an adult, 18 or over, not a child. This amount of time is absurd. This is the main reason why prostitution should be legal and controlled. If the government can monitor it, then disease and drug usage be controlled through monitoring and consent can be granted and written. It works in many countries, but as you say, it is a crime weaponized against black men in particular. Yes, I agree, some women are treated very badly, but there are relationships. The point is too check on humans, separate them, and try to find new paths for them.
