If you’re part way intelligent, then maybe you’ll understand the obvious “Duh” moment I just had: Of course President wants to be good friends with Putin, and of course that’s good for the US. That is, not just the U.S. of A. but of “us” the consumers. What’s one way to get cheaper materials? Have the Chinese get them for you. By outsourcing the “dirty work” of procuring raw material resources, that lowers the general costs of the goods. Right now, we are hitting near bottom on labor, so raw material costs are being concentrated on.
