It’s staggering; the biggest private equity funds in the world are on it—Apollo, Cerebus, Carlyle Group, etc. They lease out black and Latino captured labor from the state and federal government? Don’t believe me? Go the Bureau of Prisons federal UNICOR system and see picture of the black men at the sewing machines making military uniforms for a company called Point Blank. That company is rending out those three black men from the federal government by contacting them through the website and leasing out their labor under a contract with the federal government. Not a single person does the work in reviewing that website and the WorthRises website. According to federal law, those black men you see have NO Choice but to work, they are forced to work and use their labor without compensation to benefit that company. They can only be excused from work by a note from the doctor. They can’t vote; they don’t get paid. Captured labor. The thirteenth is in full force already.
