Technology allows for great scales of learning as it does greater scales of depravity. The printing press allowed for mass production of books to spread knowledge while the use of gunpowder made for high kill rates with the “enemy” being killed out of sight. The problem with this mass produced double-edged sword is the people who keep wielding it.
