Poverty maintenance doesn’t come cheap. Or without continual intervention. The new Houston ISD Superintendent Mike Miles continues his rampage of carnage costing teacher jobs, taxpayers millions, and planning by decree and consent. Yeah, I’ve got a thing against insurrectionists. People who overthrow democracy continue to overthrow democracy once in charge. New updates thus should come as no surprise on the Houston school gutting. Governor Abbott’s henchman just got a little henchier.

This Governor-installed “educator-eliminator” concedes he is planning to disregard the education board. He is going to use his authority to push through changes to (no surprise if you’re following the coup plot) give himself more power. He will be able to write out checks up to $2 million dollars without board approval. That is a raise of spending power from $100,000 at a time with board approval to basically unchecked infinity, or as much taxpayer money as he wants, but he is limited to $2 million “at a time.” So, I exaggerate when saying “infinity”, as what is really meant by “at a time” is one two-million-dollar wheelbarrow full at a time…
