Shocking when it’s put in perspective of what would happen if he didn’t pull his gun: a $2,000 fine for resisting a arrest. I would have paid that fine for him rather than have his shot execution style. The prosecution has to move forward. Turning off the body cam shows definitely intent—intent to kill, intent to harm. A trial is necessary. And what would be harm of making such trials or hearing standard and public? If the police in all these shooting are “innocent” and were “merely” involved in “combat”, then a public trial will exonerate them. The public can see the officers are acting properly and with safety in mind.
But hiding behind a blue wall of silence just gives the impression of deliberate racism and hatred. It shows that police and police unions are not interested to be held accountable for their actions, let alone publicly made to account. The police above all should know: the innocent don’t hide.

Thanks again for your excellent analysis.
