She’s not racist. If you read her articles you would know of the extreme difficulty of being a black American woman in Switzerland married to a white man. I’ve visited Switzerland many times where my uncle lived, an American who married a Swiss woman. Although his wife was Swiss, and all four children were Swiss, he could never become Swiss he told me, while driving me through the Alps. Unless he paid one million dollars (about $2 million today). That’s how closed the Swiss were and probably still are. They only hire Swiss people who are white to mop the floors on the ferry boats I was on when I last toured lake Lucerne 15 years ago. Once you live it, you might get it. Until you do….don’t call a black American woman a racist. So some compassion instead of attacking them.
