Really, did a mayor, who sounds like a minority, just something so moronic and insensitive as this? Mr. mayor, dude, really, you know absolutely nothing about American history? Black Americans in particular have been tolerating these scare tactics and crimes for a hundred and fifty plus years, always with the same, “We won’t tolerate this” line. I’ve myself have been hearing it for decades “over and over and over again” (to quote Killer Mike after the George Floyd “ethnic” murder as he expressed outrage to the idea of tolerance). No, a $5,000 dollar fine?? That’s a laughable possibility that expresses nothing but tolerance? And two years max (but much less is likely)? No. This is sending a signal. How is that an “increased” punishment. It’s complete BS. For terrorizing black Americans shopping and hunting them down with a baseball bat and you can’t even charge them for attempted murder? Because that is the crime that has been threatened against black Americans since after the Civil War. Ridiculous, absurd and moronic.he and the Starbucks caller threatening murder — yes threatening to kill black Americans because they were working— need to face real time. From 1876-1946 beating and killing a black American would have resulted in no time. Not even and arrest. And not the potential “bonus” punishment is a slap on two wrists. What, really?!
