No Way Forward with Consensus on Trump and Perry
I’m sorry what? I thought democracy was supposed to be contentious. What sort of democracy is it when everybody reaches consensus?
Not one I wanna participate in.
And one apparently that Scott Perry and the gang of 11 congressmen who plotted the coup with Trump want too either. Instead of congratulating the correct way the law — also known as the legislation, that comes from Congress, the legislatures — is carried out, they condemn it when it is “turned on them.” Consensus is great as long as it doesn’t apply to white men leaders who are as polarizing as they get. Then they get all non-cooperative.
On one side, we have certain groups of polarized people and politicians who have believed for 150 years that blacks should be sent back to Africa, that this country is for whites, that Jews are evil and secretly running and ruining the world, that gay children happen because of corruption and permissiveness, and the vote has always been rigged against them. They’ve rampantly abused blacks for 75 years plus straight during Jim Crow.
Not just in the South. In the Midwest they kicked blacks out of towns at sundown, following blacks in packs and throwing stones at them to drive them along and out. In Texas, they came on trains to ‘have fun’ by grabbing black porters and…
