Not me day, today, You’re studying it and bringing to our attention now. That deserves credit and proper outrage. As a a native of Buffalo living in Texas, it’s obvious these dual killings are related. The power the gun represents, especially the military might and firepower of the AR-15, is to expressly intimidate. And that intimidation is something fundamentally to the control of white supremacists. The clinging to guns, and this one in particular, reflects the sense whites have in the South where they have always been “out-numbered” and always use violence, and threats and display of violence to maintain their sense of control and superiority over blacks. I could be wrong, but I believe this is the deepest reason why they refuse to give up that gin at all. Of course they are “outnumbered” in option polls, but they’ve always been “outnumbered” in their minds and have “always” won through an embedded system of patronage. It’s no coincidence that worst, most reckless manufacturer of these assault rifles, Daniel Defense, is located in Georgia by whites. Just my opinion though.
