Overqualified Woke Anti-Dreamers Need Not Apply

This about sums up Elon’s problems: “He says things other CEOs wish they could.” But they can’t. They can’t because they would be fired, berated by the public, sued by their employees, ripped apart in the press. That’s why they don’t say and do these things. They have a lot of pressure on them from all sides and want to tell everyone to effectively “just shut up, I’m in charge.”

They don’t because they can’t, because our democracy has formed a fair business and regulatory environment that has rules, civilized, to keep autocratic instincts in check. The very ones he loves to subvert.

That’s the point of advanced democratic civilizations: to set standards that limit abusive behavior: in the markets, in the office, with employees, etc.

That is what makes Elon dangerous, he doesn’t care about these things. He’s the boss with unlimited money that disregards them. And that’s why he’s been sued by everyone: including black workers who were called “monkeys” and other problems with women and minority workers; is in court now in Delaware for business violations; had a baby with a female employee born the same time as he had a baby with girlfriend; buried shoddy workmanship in vehicles by buying off customers; etc.
