Maybe you should have said Wyoming. I met a small business man from there, an oil man, and he was saying his patch actual is right near Rupaul’s husbands. Apparently he is or became a rich oil person because is the fracking in their Wyoming ranch.
But I’m glad to hear there is some movement away from stereotyping. I remember going to see one of my older brothers back in the early to mid nineties. He started lifting weights and became big, then he performed as a robot dressing up as a woman and was brought out at the end of the drag show after the “conventional” drag queens went on in Buffalo. Everybody loved his strange shows and dancing ability and nobody knew what to make of Orgasmatron. But what actually jolted me from the stereotyping was in the weeks afterward when I went out with him to a gay bar. The word is bar. It was guys having beer after the factory closed, men who were construction workers. All very nice, but no one at this place was not “normal” guy-ish. He flitted around socializing and I chatted with a few “men” construction worker types, but it was amazing they knew I wasn’t gay and just chatted. It was weirdly normal. So I think you’re right, it definitely seems to be a cis person thing this drag queen show today. Those mass of guys getting beer after a shift on the jackhammer type of gay are probably still there, no one paying attention, probably as they like it. Stay well and thanks again for sharing. Peace.
