Jerry may have just failed the American loyalty test. He signed a letter with 300 others, many Jews, asking why the Writers Guild is not issuing a statement condemning Hamas. It’s like an attack on Muslim Americas, who are very aligned with the Palestinians. There’s a very basic reason Seinfeld failed: the Writers Guild is not a government. That’s not a Seinfeld joke. Governments issue statements against other countries (if they want) and take sides. The buck stops there.

Seinfeld and his friends who have signed this letter have not noticed a major difference between BlackLivesMatter, for a continually repressed ethnic group in America, which the Writers Guild previously supported in public remarks, and Israel, another country, where 20 percent of their citizens are Arabs. Hollywood celebrities always score low in this kind of stuff, and their overpaid millionaire egos cross international boundaries like a new Fast and Furious installment. Israel is an actual country, outside of America (just to indicate that an actual border exists), while supporting black Americans who are continually repressed, is a domestic matter, inside the US border.
