I think Dr. Jenny though is typical of the discourse around this issue and 'simply' one person who doesn't have the facts. Universities are not kind to people in fields like economics who want to write about the 'economics of slave breeding'. No 'liberal' white male professor woulde endanger the universites reputation to give tenure to such an associate professor. In all fairness to her, I think she is a victim of the system in not understanding and labeling the issue, just as I was in not be informed of this issue at all.
