It does seem society is ill and angry for no reason. I don’t want to sound condescending, but except for Jaia, I consider trans people typically the least threatening group of Americans. Maybe I’m just to personally sensitive, but when I walk into a room full of white male Truck owners here in Texas I tend to clench up. I avoid that scenario and ice houses for that reason. The (trans) boy I know drive home from art club who my daughter befriended in high school told me (I didn’t ask) that he had spent five years being taunted and abused at school before transferring to that elementary school we were passing. That school there (which we passed) was much better and he fit in and went on to middle school. His parents are divorced and his father has some issues with him. It’s actually super sad to hear about five years of abuse at school just because some body (a body) was born with a different genetically programmed brain (I believe this is not a condition but like interested “just” a genetic physical design a person has at birth). The violence this young boy had to endure is unimaginable; all he wants to do is draw and make art. After all that taunting he still can’t being who he is. From Kindergarten to fourth grade—no body chooses who they are; they just are. Yet, societal violence is unyielding. Those severe straight normies or breeders like me can only try to contribute by showing open support to the rest of my violent cis white male community (though I’ll still avoid the ice house).
