It could be seen as a slow process. Considering the first slave set foot in Florida in 1526, almost five hundred years ago, I would say the slow evolution of white supremacy in that state clearly looks to be more dangerous now. I would only add the most people who are with DeSantis, all his voters, don’t feel like a target because they are ones holding the assault rifles and looking through the crosshairs. I would say they are concerned—that their state will be taken over those who miscegenate.
