No. And Probably No.

********

Wow, that was easy. For someone known (at least in my own head) for excessive verbosity in trying to answer simple questions, that was deeply uncharacteristic of me. I even shocked myself. Two questions combined into one and both answered. My job at solving racism is over for the day (at least in my head).

But my desire to create racial controversy to make some kind of point of easy internet memes both for and against racism, even ones denying its existence, that could potentially bring down my favorite new donut shop (that I know I shouldn’t visit) was just all too clever (just complimenting myself, as no one else will today and I need this mini-ego boost, or I’m just feeling a sugar rush from the mini-M&Ms glued on with icing to the regular cake donut). So, I have to explain the answers. I’ll try to be quick about it (warning, rarely works out — but journeying down the dark road of American racism never does for journeymen, and for many black Americans never who never returned and were “disappeared” when wandering down it outside New Orleans without their “papers.”)

Hence, to the answer the answer on the first question (geez, like I’m on racist game show), is to explain that Voodoo-ism is actually just plain African religion…
