Interesting debate, but we should all vote and changes by values, who we are on the inside. (I don’t value anything modern Republicans do or say, never have, and grew up white in the north.) But one correction: the first 23 black members of Congress were republicans, technically true. But that was when Republicans were liberals and pro-Civil Rights and Democrats were lynching blacks (1866-1901). Gotta put that CRT back into textbooks.
