I'm sorry to say Nope, his seminal work does still have credibility and is still a basis for further study. It isn't a fashion but a gateway to learning more complex ideas about syntax and is a seminal work of science, not a fade or passing fashion. We can certainly disagree on his political stuff; some people certainly like it and his provocations. I value other opinions and value even if I disagree with it. But they are opinions, and his science is fact, not an opinion. I am a linguist, and found his first work to be concise and enlightening, and his idea of Universal Grammar still contains great merit and understand it is the unpinning to the evolution of neurological brain science.

Thanks, I appreciate your notes, and do understand why you read his political works, as his opinion is stimulating and insightful.
