I think there is the indelible stigma of that negativity of the N word when used by blacks to describe other blacks, a subtle type of oppression. I’ve seen a couple comedy clips from Chris Rock discussing the difference between Blacks and Nxxxs”, and Steve Harvey. These are comedians clearly discussing that word knowingly as a word that signifies categorical lowering.
