I happen to know that hanging around with my gay brother in the early 90s and watching him perform as a cis trans robot that many of the other performers at the drag show who are normal compared to him actually were in demand by street white men. I also learned, those there, and from other documentaries that my interests were peaked in around my encounters that I had going to some of his shows that the trans community appeared to be the most abused sexually community. From what I had seen, it wasn’t uncommon for police to take them into their car and get a service from them because many of them were on the streets, dejected from their homes. Hopefully times have changed some in that regard. But they certainly need the most support Given the historical repression and abuse that seems extreme to this class. It seems that black trans or even more abused than normal black Americans.

But the issue I have, and I have a serious question on about this specific situation with Lia is that there seems to be an unfairness that was thrust upon her by the swimming sports authority. I was thinking, if my teenage daughters would be put into a room suddenly without proper expectations to shower with Lia it would be a shock to them and I would be upset and have a lawyer contact the swimming board. Normally there is not an expectation to see male genitals in a female swimming shower. I’m not sure what exactly happened though. I’m just wondering if the Sports swimming authority that made this poor decision planned some sort of statement by mixing Lia up and the female swimmers up in this position.

Where Lia was joining the team halfway through the season instead of at the beginning, when everybody else was, all the swimmers who are female had no choice or a chance to talk about the issue in depth, instead of just have this controversy thrust on all of them. This was so poorly done it seems it was just to shock everyone in and out of the water to make a controversy on. I think it was unfair not only to the female swimmers, but Lia as well who is probably suffering from the attention that is received. I can’t blame her for jumping at the chance, and I also can’t blame the female swimmers for having this situation thrust upon them unfairly it seems without do warning by men on the swimming board who didn’t give them a chance or a choice. I’m just wondering if there’s some person behind this swimming certification board decide to throw Lia in the pool so speak as a deliberate political misdeed motivated by money instead of the interests of all parties, because so far, none of the swimmers and the sport have benefited. The only beneficiary I’ve seen perhaps is Ted Cruz practically yelling at woman in the congressional hearing and not letting her answer the question about what composes men and women and the Red politicians using this controversy in Congress and on the campaign trail. I can’t blame her for jumping at the chance, and I also can’t blame the female swimmers for having this situation thrust upon them unfairly it seems without ample warning by men on the swimming board who didn’t give them a chance or a choice.

Thanks for raising this issue and raising awareness.
