I had not heard about this Massacre—which is not a “Tragedy.” This is yet another white massacre of black Americans to add to my growing list. What makes this one even “worse” than the Kent State—a 9 out of 9 on my depravity scale, where Kent State is a 7 or 8–is the planning and lack of opposition at the time. From the details you provided, it appears that: there was no active protest going on when this happened; the dump truck was brought in and set on fire to bring in the fire department and troops in riot gear; the fire department came quickly; the police came relatively quickly and were well paraded, already dressed in riot gear, with active live chambers loaded in their guns; the number of bullets fired indicated there may have been more than 38 special police issued hand guns; an “anti-democracy” (or anti-civil unalienable rights) tank was at the ready to roll in; the students were going about their normal day; some unknown and non-investigated “glass breaking” set off the police and there were several false allegations disguised as rumors circulating about peaceful protests from Medgar Evers brother. I’m may have missed some details from your list demonstrating a planned massacre. What elevates it even above that is that this is a state-sponsored planned ethnic cleansing, or, an act of white Aryan genocide against black Americans.
I’ll definitely have to research this highly disturbing, long-buried massacre of civil rights protestors. If all those details here are confirmed, then it should be relabeled as a genocidal act by the state government, covered up by national government and buried by the news as an act of complicity.

Thank you very much again professor Spivey from bringing this to light. I’m very glad you disturbed me again (it’s been a couple years and I’m still gratefully disturbed I have not gotten over the breeding farm articles you’ve done). Your daily efforts to adds deep value to an American much need light to be shone on a purposefully buried past.
