I agree, though no one asked me either. But I think of Caucasian has use in the describes a traceable language system that spread both East and west from the Caucuses. One “half” went east, pushing down into India and Northern Pakistan. Hence “Indo-European” language group. So Northern Indians are actually Caucasians and speak Hindu or Urdu, which part of our language group. They can be “lighter” skinned and quite tall. I’ve met many six feet to seven feet tall. The point is that the term has scientific merit for some, but doesn’t refer to skin color. (And not all European languages fall into this group, notably Finnish and Hungarian). Thanks.
