Hopefully you will consider writing something since your research and writings have compelled me to think about Thomas Jefferson and other historical figures and dates. The Queen, not as a person but as a representative of The Crown, a twelve hundred year absolutist organization, deserve severe reconsideration. That organization started the Atlantic slave trade and maintained it until the Americans put and end to it with the constitutional clause to sundown it in 1807, as you pointed out.
But it was he British monarchy that owned and blessed the corporations trading and profiting from slaves. You’ve pointed out very astutely the breeding camps set up in Virginia to make slaves as importing had been banned by the constitution. It looks to me like the Northerners banned the slave trade, as the British Crown wouldn’t stop selling slave out of some dignified or moral motivation. They are the best gaslighters in the world though, I’m convinced. They—the monarchy— get none of the blame from us Americans for starting the slave trade, capturing the slaves or buying them captured and then transporting them and selling and using them in the colonies.
America wasn’t founded until 1776, which means the responsibility for slavery and the horrors it entailed fell squarely on the British monarchy. It was there representative corporations that owned and ran plantations in the South until the Revolution. Their corporations who sent representatives over to be slave masters and do the whippings and awful stuff. Their corporations whose ships were loaded with tobacco and cotton that were shipped back to Britain and used as industrial inputs where the value was added. Their corporations that sent their sons over to collect the balance sheets with the crop and slave valuations and sent back to Liverpool or what not.
I certainly understand the anger and frustration of American white supremacy, it was the Queen’s family lineage that started American slavery and white supremacy, so you have to dole out credit where credits is due. American rebels in the North fought to overthrow their despotic supremacist rule and replace it authority with the worlds first real democracy under the ideal inalienable rights and all men are created equal as the principle of government. The Kings and Queens of England did not. Instead they continued with slavery. When the abolished it in Britain in 1833 and fully 1840, they only abolished trading slaves, not treating blacks as slaves. That they continued with. They invaded Africa, killing thousands and thousands of blacks, subjugating them to their rule, then making the black natives extract resources just like they did in America. Except now the black African humans were slaves in their own countries instead of being put on ships.
And yet….Yet everyone still pays deference to the Crown. Even black Americans and liberals. Even Many, but not all, of the African countries they invaded, conquered and murder with American made Gatling Guns they bought from us starting in 1869 with the purpose of shooting down black Africas in wars they started.
And yet… they still get such royal, untouchable deference. Hitler invaded Eastern Europe and France and we think he is evil. The Crown starts the Atlantic slave trade, runs it with brutal genocidal efficiency until 1807, then occupies black countries by blasting away native peoples protecting their own countries and extracts resources for another hundred years. And yet it was called “colonization” instead of genocidal occupation.

Wait, but wait. Why would we want to criticize her. She’s so lovely, with her constant royal presence.
Sorry, I was born in the north and taught to question authority always. But I quit, I just quite when it comes to the Kings and Queens of England. Reparations took 150 years to pay back by the British taxpayer in 2015. But the slaves got nothing. All the reparations went to the slave owners. The owners. For 150 years from the taxpayer. I’ve been so so deceived by paying the slightest deference to the authoritarian originators of white supremacy. All because they have shiny jewels,little old ladies with clutch purses and “palace intrigue.” Joesph Goebbels couldn’t hold a PR candle to the British Crown.
