President Lightly Suggests Very Temporary Ban on Assault Rifles to Honor Dead School Children

[Warning: This piece contains references that many will find offensive, and most people should condemn such satirical pieces whose main purpose is to show nothing politically will be done after this school massacre of children, just like the time between Columbine and Uvalde. Such attempts at dark humor betray that the author had given up on politicians on all sides of all aisles who should be fighting to protect our children from war weapons — because more children were killed this year by assault rifles and their hollow point exploding bullets than in all first world countries combined from the last decade.]

Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-Tennessee) responded to the massacre in Nashville today by saying she was personally “heartbroken.” The female assailant entered the private primary school with two AR-15s, the assault rifle of choice for public massacres.

Asked if she would seek now to ban these murder machines, she noted she was too heartbroken to make any changes to the law. “It wasn’t the two AR-15s with extended magazines or the backup glock that killed the children and teachers, it was the shooter.”
