New Insurrection: Ron DeSantis fired a duly elected black American woman, a highly competent lawyer trusted by the people who won a fair election. Maybe I should start a magazine, Insurrection Times. It’s getting hard to keep track.

But this one stands out just a bit, or has at least a slightly different take, because it obvious the multiple statements DeSantis is making by firing a duly elected black woman of power. There are at least two black women lording of Trump: one the federal judge in the federal case that can ‘remand’ physically Donald Trump to jail for breaking the witness intimidation clause he broke right away.

Second, because he is framing the firing as this black woman attorney who rose to the top and now the trust of a majority of the voters as someone weak on crime. He claims she is not being disproportionately touch on crime, mean failing to crack down on black Americans for minor offenses. She is only doing what all other DAs should have scaled back on decades ago and focusing resources on the difficult cases. In other words, she’s being a hero not a villain.

So, the ramp up in the primary gets worse, with deep real-world consequences. I noticed in the article an absence…
